The plant will produce products for winter sports – skis, ski boots and ski bindings.
The Austrian company Head International Holding GmbH – “daughter” of the Head UK Ltd – plans to build in Ukraine a plant for the production of sports equipment.
This was reported by the press service of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on the results of his meeting with the Executive Director Head Johann Elias.

The investment project of the Head company in Vinnitsa is 80 million euros and consists of three stages. For 2019-2020 will be built the largest plant for the production of products for winter sports (skis, ski boots and ski bindings). The number of new jobs will be in the initial phase, about 300, and 2022 in the course of expansion of production the estimated number of new jobs should reach 1 thousand persons.
“We conducted a thorough analysis of not only Ukraine but also other countries. I believe that Ukraine offers the best opportunity for competitive production in this part of the world, even better than in China,” said Executive Director Head Johann Elias.

He also added that very impressed with the development of Ukraine. “I like the fact that you are investing in the defence sector 5-7% of GDP. This ensures political stability. It’s amazing how you solve the situation with Russia. The agreements you have reached with the EU – it’s very good,” said Elias.
Head International Holding GmbH, an Austrian company, which produces sports equipment for winter sports, tennis and scuba diving. Manufacturing company located in Austria, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, China. Present in 85 countries around the world. Also, the Head company is the sponsor of the swimming Federation of Ukraine and the swimmer of the national team of Ukraine №1 Andrey Govorov.
