The Americans urged the attorney General to enhance cooperation in legal matters, despite the policy.
Three U.S. senators-Democrats appealed to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuri Lutsenko with the request to clarify the information the NYT about the blocking of investigations into Manafort.

The senators stressed that bilateral cooperation in legal matters must be expanded, despite the politics.
“A joint investigation of Manafort is important not only for the investigation of Muller, but also to expose corruption schemes of President Victor Yanukovych”, – the document says.
Menendez, Durbin Lehi and formulated three questions regarding information about the freezing of four cases:
– Does the GPU have carried out these steps? If so, why?
– Did someone from the administration to trump an appeal to the Ukrainian government not to cooperate with Mueller?
– Did you discuss the investigation of Muller between the Ukrainian and American governments during the meeting between presidents Poroshenko and trump in new York in 2017?
