Now the average wage in Ukraine is close to 9 thousand UAH.

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that he had set the task to reach a minimum salary of 4 thousand UAH to the end of the year.

During a visit to Khmelnitsky region, the President reminded about the increase of wages doubled to RS 3200, then to 3700 UAH.

“I set the task to reach the level of 4000 UAH to the end of the year. This is not the limit,” – said Petro Poroshenko.

According to the President, now the average wage in Ukraine is close to 9 thousand UAH.

We will remind, the government has repeatedly heard statements about a possible increase in the minimum wage in Ukraine in the second half of 2018 to 4.1 thousand UAH. But, they say, that is no economic justification. The IMF do not see any real ground to increase the minimum wage in Ukraine.
