Parubiy will discuss the text of the bill with the IMF and Venice Commission.
The Verkhovna Rada Committee on legal policy on Monday approved the draft law on anti-corruption court for the second reading.
It is reported by Gromadske.
The Chairman of the Committee Ruslan Knyazevich said that the draft law was approved with the exception of the 70 amendments, which concern the procedure for veto candidates for the court from the Council of international experts.
“We talked with the speaker of Parliament and Andrey suggested that the Committee put the issue in parentheses, and referred the project to the session hall. But parallel discussion on this issue will continue,” — said the Deputy.
The evening of 21 may, the project will be discussed in Skype conference between the Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament Andrei Parubiy, the IMF and the Venice Commission. During the discussion they will try to agree on a final text of the bill.
