Foreign exchange reserves of the National Bank of Ukraine for the past three years has grown almost in three and a half times.

This was announced by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

He noted that now the gold and currency reserves exceed $ 18 billion, although at some point in 2015, they amounted to 5.5 billion dollars.

“So in that time they have increased almost three and a half times”, – wrote Poroshenko on his page in Facebook.

Earlier it was reported that by the end of April 2018 international reserves of the National Bank of Ukraine up to 18 billion 421,1 million US dollars in equivalent. This is 1.3% (229 million dollars) more than a month earlier. Before that, the foreign exchange reserves of the NBU in the period of four months only “lose weight”.
