The final decision on the gas price formula has not yet approved.
The price of gas for the population after bringing it to market levels could increase by 60-70%.
This was stated by the Chairman of the National Commission, carrying out state regulation in the spheres of energy and communal services Dmitry Vovk, reports “UKRINFORM”.
“Now the revision is plus 60-70%,” – said Vovk.
Chairman NKREKU noted that if the rates were revised earlier, as demanded by the IMF, the current increase would have amounted to 10-15%.
The cost of a cubic meter of gas for the population from April 1, 2017 is 6,9579 UAH. After a rise in price by 60-70% price can be 11,1326-11,8284 UAH.
Recall that among the key demands of the IMF for providing the next tranche of the loan is the creation of an anti-corruption court and establish a market price for gas for the population.
