None of the former hostages for payment has not yet implemented.
For financial assistance of UAH 100 thousand turned 65 Ukrainians, which freed hostages from militants six months ago, in December 2017. However, none of them the money not yet paid – continuing review.
This was reported in the Ministry in the temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons (MWOT), reports “Radio Freedom”.
“After receipt of generalized lists from the regional and Kyiv city state administrations MOT… will transfer the appropriate funds to the bodies of social protection of the population”, – reported in the Ministry.

Recall, 27 December 2017 in the Donbas had an exchange of detained persons. The Ukrainian side gave 74 people, but one of them decided to stay in the occupied Donbas (there are family). Kiev gave the rebels 233. On 24 January, the rebels released another hostage – a Ukrainian soldier Novel savkova. Traded it for a woman who was pardoned by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
At the end of January 2018, the Cabinet adopted a decision to pay 100 thousand UAH by each of the former hostages of the militants. To receive funds, the person or Trustee shall, within six months to address in bodies of social protection of the population.
Payment will take place only after verification of these citizens by the security Service of Ukraine – on the subject, not whether they collaborated with the militants.
