Kyiv hosts the international musical project “the Way of friendship.” Over 300 musicians from Ukraine and Italy have to play classical music under the direction of conductor Riccardo Muti, according to a story TSN.19:30.
The project was born 20 years ago in Sarajevo – the city that continued to bomb, played a Symphony orchestra. Since then the musicians have already visited Yerevan, Tokyo and Damascus. This year Ukrainians will be able to see this incredible event – it will happen on 1 July in Sophia square and will subsequently be broadcast on the channel “1+1”. “In the Hagia Sophia, about 20 thousand people can watch directly, and I think millions of people on their TV screens,” – said the Minister of culture Yevhen Nyshchuk.
