The Deputy noted that the adopted law into account all remarks and offers of the Western partners, so Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko at the upcoming NATO summit on July 11-12 will have all grounds to state that Ukraine has reformed the sector of defense and security according to the standards of the Alliance.
“It creates a diplomatic / legal position for Ukraine to action plan on NATO membership. What is the action plan? This is a clear list of items that need to be done to Ukraine, then Ukraine has a negotiating position to ask, to demand, to insist to take Ukraine into NATO,” – said Ivan Vinnik.
