Since the beginning of the year, the company has supplied Europe and Turkey more than 100 billion cubic meters.

The Russian company “Gazprom“, which is a monopolist in the export of natural gas through pipelines in 2018 could set a new record on fuel supplies abroad.

This was at the shareholders meeting said the head of the concern Alexei Miller, writes Reuters.

“According to preliminary data, during the first half of 2018, we put on the market of 101.2 billion cubic meters, is 5.7 percent, or 5.5 billion cubic meters higher than for the same period of record 2017,” he said.

According to Miller, it is about supply in Europe and Turkey.

At the same time, he noted that in 2017, Gazprom exported to Europe and Turkey almost 194 billion cubic meters.

We will remind, on February 28, 2018 the Stockholm arbitration has obliged “Gazprom” to pay “Naftogaz” more than 4.6 billion U.S. dollars for the undelivered volumes of gas for transit under bilateral agreements. Earlier, the court reaffirmed the debt of Ukrainian companies for the supply of gas amounting to two billion US dollars. In the end, the results of two arbitration of disputes between companies regarding the supply and transit of gas “Gazprom” should pay the NAC of 2.56 billion dollars, and also a penalty. March 21, Gazprom appealed the decision of the arbitration on the contract for the supply of gas.

Also in early March , Gazprom warned early termination of bilateral agreements with the Ukrainian side.

5 June “Naftogaz of Ukraine” reported that the court arrested the assets of the Russian company “Gazprom”, which are located in the Netherlands.
