The President also noted adamant stand of Serbia regarding the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Petro Poroshenko hopes that the Serbian party will support the introduction of the UN peacekeeping mission in the occupied Ukrainian territories.
He stated this during a meeting with President Aleksandar Vucic.
Poroshenko also noted the “absolutely rigid” the position of Serbia with respect to support for the sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine. He also noted that Ukraine, in turn, respects the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia. “We have not recognized Kosovo, and we assume the position that the Kosovo problem should be resolved by a compromise taking into account the interests of Serbia”, he added.

“We certainly count on the support of Serbia to the introduction of the peacekeeping mission with the mandate of the security Council of the United Nations”, – said the President of Ukraine.
The Serbian President also stressed the importance of respecting the Minsk agreements and said that they should be an important part in the establishment of peace. “Thank you Mr. President for supporting the territorial integrity of our country,” he said.
Earlier, Ukraine and Serbia has established a visa-free regime. The corresponding agreement the presidents of the countries signed in Belgrade. Now Ukrainians will be able to stay in this country without a visa for 90 days.

In Istanbul Petro Poroshenko met with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Minister of foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu. The Turkish side stated that it supported the deployment of the UN peacekeeping mission in the occupied part of Donbass, and even ready to take part in it.
