Ukraine is fighting for the restoration of peace and sovereignty.

Russia is always ready for any aggressive actions, including the beginning of open war.

About it in interview to the Serbian channel RTS said the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, reports his press-service.

“First, there are “red lines”. If in January 2014 you would ask me: it is possible that Russia will carry out armed aggression against Ukraine? I would say that this is impossible. The same with Crimea. There are “red lines”, including open war,” he says.

Poroshenko added that the conflict in the Donbas is not frozen, but rather is in a phase of a hot war. He noted that Ukraine is fighting only and the restoration of sovereignty and peace, no other purpose.

The Ukrainian President recalled the three documents that are important for conflict resolution: the Minsk agreements of 5 and 19 September 2014 and 12 February 2015.

Recall, Petro Poroshenko hopes that the Serbian party will support the introduction of the peacekeeping mission of the UN in the occupied Ukrainian territories.
