In Russian cities during the world Cup football fans spent at least 17 billion rubles.
That is the amount of transactions passed through the terminals of VTB Bank during the group stage of the world Cup, according to Mash.
The largest share of expenditures – 82% – came to transport, in particular taxi services. Followed food, hotels and Souvenirs. The average check is slightly more than 1.5 thousand rubles.
Most of the money spent in Moscow. In second place – Ekaterinburg, the third – Kazan, Saint Petersburg, Russia – the fourth. Last – Saransk, in the terminals of VTB there was 5 million rubles.
