A glitch in the system occurred on Monday evening.

Monday evening, July 9, ceased to operate ATMs and terminals of the largest Ukrainian Bank “PrivatBank”. People can not withdraw money, to pay off the card, and the like.

“PrivatBank” connected backup channels, to ensure the stability of the services because of the accident of trunk channels. The specialists of “PrivatBank” in the emergency mode is carried out works on connection of redundant channels of communication to ensure the stability of services and the acquiring Bank’s ATM because of the accident of trunk channels”, – have informed in a press-service financial institution.

In the IT Department of the Bank said that “the accident of the backbone channels in the end of the working day on 9 July was the cause of temporary interruptions in the network of POS-terminals and ATMs of the Bank. Now the specialists of “PrivatBank” carry out emergency work connecting redundant channels of communication that will restore the stability of payment services within one hour”.

Correspondent Dnia reports that Kiev is already working payment terminals and card to pay.
