The President of the European Council calls for full implementation of the Minsk agreements.
In the European Union believe that Russia is responsible for war in Donbas and the fulfillment of the Minsk agreements.
This was stated by the President of the European Council Donald Tusk during a press conference with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and the head of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker.
“We continue to demand full implementation of the Minsk agreements, and insist on the responsibility of Russia for the war in the East of Ukraine”, – he stressed.
In addition, the President of the European Council recalled the UN data, according to which in 2014, as a result of the conflict in Eastern Ukraine killed more than 10 thousand 250 people, more than 24 thousand 600 people were injured.
“And this is happening in Europe,” he said.
Tusk also said that the EU leaders unanimously agreed to again extend by six months economic sanctions against Russia.
