Restrictions should be lifted for 2017-2018.

The General court of the European Union adopted a decision according to which should be lifted sanctions against the former head of Administration of President Yanukovych Andriy Klyuyev.

About this Twitter wrote the Brussels correspondent of “Radio Liberty” Rikard Jozwiak.

“Andriy Klyuyev won the case in the current General EU court that the sanctions against him for 2017-2018 was cancelled. But it remains in the list of EU sanctions, as the measures 2018-2019 years old were renewed in March and still not appealed”, – said the journalist.

Andriy Klyuyev won the case in the EU’s general court today to have the sanctions for 2017-18 against him annulled but remains on the EU sanctions list as the 2018-2019 measures were extended in March and are still not contested. #Ukraine #Crimea #Russia

Recall that in late winter the representatives of the General Prosecutor’s office assured that the lifting of sanctions against former senior officials of times of Yanukovych will not affect the investigation of criminal cases in Ukraine. The lifting of sanctions against Serhiy Kluyev (a brother of Andriy Klyuyev), who was the owner of the company, which were issued “the surgeon”, the GPU was explained by technical reasons. At the same time, this year promises to transfer in court business against the former Minister of justice Elena Lukash.
