National Bank worsened the forecast on the level of international reserves of Ukraine in 2018-2020.
This was announced by the Chairman of the NBU Yakov Smoliy.
According to estimates of the national Bank, in 2018, the level of reserves would amount to 20.7 billion dollars. (previously, the regulator predicted 21.6 billion dollars), in 2019 18.8 billion dollars. (previously 19.1 billion dollars.) in 2020 is 19.7 billion dollars. (previously $ 20 billion.)
While this year Ukraine’s balance of payments closed with a surplus of $ 2 billion. (previous forecast to 2.6 billion dollars.) in 2019 – with a deficit of 0.3 billion dollars. (0.8 billion dollars), in 2020 – with a deficit of 0.1 billion dollars. (0 billion us dollars).
