In Kiev during the events 1030-anniversary of the Baptism of Kievan Rus will be limited to vehicular traffic.

The event will take place on 24, 27 and 28 July. On Tuesday, July 24, at the request of the Patriarchate, the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church divine Liturgy will take place near St. Andrew’s Church and the procession along the route: St. Andrew’s descent – street of the tithe – rent an apartment – trekhsvyatitelskaya street – the Vladimir hill. There will also be prayers at the monument to Princess Olga, Apostle Andrew and the Apostle Cyril and Methodius. The event will run from 9:00 to 13:30.
On Friday, July 27, at the request of the office of the Kyiv metropolis of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church held a prayer service on Vladimir hill and the procession route: Vladimirskaya Gorka – trekhsvyatitelskaya street – European square – Hrushevskoho street – the street of Ivan Mazepa street Lavra. It will last from 11:00 to 16:30.

On Saturday, July 28, at the request of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Kiev Patriarchate held a religious procession route: Boulevard of Taras Shevchenko – Volodymyrska street – the street three saints – the Vladimir hill. Also planned a prayer service on Vladimir hill. The event will run from 12:00 to 13:30.
Recall President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko expressed the hopethat the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew may grant Ukraine the right to its own Autocephalous Orthodox Autocephalous Church until the Day of the baptism of Rus.
