The new note will appear in circulation at the end of September.
Today, July 17, the national Bank presented bill 20 hryvnia of 2018. It will enter into circulation on 25 September this year.
In General, release first about five million pieces of banknotes of this denomination.
In the design of the main motives for the design of banknotes has not changed – was a portrait of writer Ivan Franko, Lviv Opera house image. Also, the bill retained the color green.

After the introduction of the new 20 hryvnia banknotes citizens don’t need to exchange the banknotes of old sample on new, noted in the NBU. Updated notes controller will gradually replace the worn-out and damaged 20-hryvnia banknotes of the sample of 2003.
Update banknotes of hryvnia the national Bank began with banknotes 100 UAH sample 2014 (in circulation from March of 2015) and 500 hryvnia of 2015 (in circulation from April 2016).
