Among the countries that are not members of the European Union, Ukraine – the first.
Ukraine ranked third in the world in the number of queries to the trading service of the EU Trade HelpDesk (after Spain and the UK) and the first place among countries that are not EU members.
Such data for January-may 2018, leads the EU delegation to Ukraine.
“We congratulate Ukraine, namely the Ukrainian company, who are a world leader in sending service requests, the EU Trade HelpDesk! This means that more and more Ukrainian companies planning to enter the EU market with their products,” – said in the message.
Trade HelpDesk is the official open and free database of the European Union about the obligatory conditions of export of goods to the European market: import tariffs of the EU, mandatory (legal) requirements to the goods, contact details of the organizations responsible for market regulation, conditions of application of the preferential duty rates, quotas, trade statistics.
The top 5 products, which were exported to the EU in the first quarter of 2018, includes: agriculture and food industry; metallurgical products; machinery; mineral products; wood and paper pulp.
