The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko fired Rostislav Pavlenko from the post of Deputy head of the presidential Administration.

This is stated on the website of the President.

However, another presidential Executive order Pavlenko was appointed Director of the National Institute for strategic studies.

The previous Director of the Institute Volodymyr Horbulin was dismissed because of joining the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

Note national Institute for strategic studies is a basic research institution, analytical-prognostic support of the activities of the President of Ukraine.
