The attacker now faces 5 years in prison.

In the village of Bobrytsia near Kiev the drunk driver of VAZ knocked down a COP and fled the scene.

This was reported by the health Department communications police.

“The response team patrol police, providing law and order and traffic safety on the roads of Kiev-Sviatoshynsky district, stopped the car VAZ which driver caused suspicion. In the car were two passengers. On the requirement of militiamen to shut down the engine and exit the vehicle the driver did not respond. Instead, he pressed on the gas pedal and quickly drove off, injuring a police officer”, – is spoken in the message.

As a result of hitting a police officer received a head injury and injuries to his body, he was hospitalized.

According to the patrol, they are visually determined that the driver was in an alcohol intoxication.

As noted, the police caught up with the fugitive and arrested him, the now 31-year-old man is in temporary detention facility. For driving while intoxicated concerning the offender the administrative report is made, and for causing injuries to the police instituted criminal proceedings. The man announced suspicion and he faces imprisonment of up to five years.

We will remind, earlier in Lviv thugs stabbed a police officer who tried to detain them. Later it became known that the reason for the detention was drawing on the walls of the houses of the inscriptions on the Kherson activist Catherine Gandzyuk.
