Coronavirus in the dormitory was discovered by accident. In the night of Friday 22-year-old boy became ill and he lost consciousness. It is noted that the patient has no symptoms of the coronavirus were not. But when he did the PCR test, the result was positive.

Thereafter, on April 26 began testing contact persons. According to preliminary information, now there are 152 people, mostly foreign students. Now tested 20 people, and six students were infected with the coronavirus. Also COVID-19 “caught” the commandant of the hostel.

The testing continues. The entrance to the hostel is closed to unauthorized persons, between floors restricted the movement of residents and disinfection of the establishment. According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, the hostel is determined by the insulator.

We will remind, on March 11 the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in three weeks, has imposed a quarantine on the entire territory of Ukraine for combating coronavirus from China. The Cabinet proposed the establishment of restrictions on holding mass events, which planned the participation of more than 200 people. But this does not apply to measures of state necessity. The work of metro and road, railway and air connections between the cities and regions of 18 March in Ukraine will be temporarily limited. 2 weeks after that, the Cabinet declared a state of emergency on the entire territory of Ukraine and extended the quarantine for a month – until April 24. 3 APR quarantine strengthened: mandatory 14-day observation for those coming from abroad, forbidden to move through the streets more than two persons, except in cases of support of children. On 22 April, the quarantine was extended until may 11.

In Ukraine March 3, recorded the first case of infection with coronavirus COVID-19. Infected was a resident of Chernivtsi region. He had just returned with his wife from Italy. On the evening of 12 March in Ukraine officially confirmed two more cases of infection with coronavirus. Infection was recorded in Chernivtsi, and Zhytomyr regions. Female from Zhytomyr died of infection, becoming the first victim COVID-19 in Ukraine.
