Militants “DNR” reported the first fatal case of novel coronavirus infection in the occupied Donetsk region.

“In “DNR” was the first fatal case of COVID-19. Patient 60 years old enrolled in a health care institution is already in serious condition with an initial diagnosis of pneumonia. During treatment, was carried out sampling of biological material for research on coronavirus infection, unfortunately, the patient could not be saved,” – said in the “Ministry of health”.
Note that the first death from the coronavirus in the occupied Donbass reported the Ministry of reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. According to authorities, the patient died in the hospital of the occupied city Amvrosievka 4 April, but the rebels ignore this fact.

On 22 April, the quarantine was extended until may 11.
