Razumkov signed a decree on the appointment of a new extraordinary session of the Parliament

The meeting will be held on 7 may 2020 14 hours of the day.

Following the extraordinary plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on may 7. As reported on the website of the Parliament, the corresponding order was signed by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Dmitry Razumkov.

”In connection with the requirement 156 people’s deputies of Ukraine to convene an extraordinary plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the ninth convocation and in accordance with part eight of article 19 of the Regulations of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to convene an extraordinary plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the ninth Convention of 14 hours on 7 may 2020”, – stated in the order.

The meeting will consider the draft law on amendments to some laws of Ukraine to improve the capacity of the health system to address the spread of coronavirus disease COVID-19 (No. 3380) and the draft law on amendments to the law ”On protection of population from infectious diseases” (concerning definition of the sizes of obligatory state insurance of employees of state and municipal health care institutions engaged in the field of protection of population from infectious diseases) (No. 3376).

Yesterday it was reported that the Fraction of “European solidarity” will initiate the holding of an extraordinary plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada this week. Collected 157 signatures necessary to convene an extraordinary session of Parliament.
