This decision was taken through numerous attacks by militants that do not adhere to the Minsk agreements.
The Chairman of the Lugansk military and civil administration Yuriy Garbuz said that is scheduled for 9 October, the withdrawal of troops and equipment near the village of Luhansk will not take place.
About that decision he wrote on his page in Facebook.
“I am grateful to all those who supported my position concerning the withdrawal of troops in Stanitsa Luganskaya! I am grateful to the President of Ukraine, Minister of defense, across the country, and most importantly, the residents of the Village, in the heart which lives in Ukraine! I support the efforts of Ukrainian diplomacy in the Minsk negotiation process and understanding that lead to peace. I am sure that thanks to the wisdom and statist approach of the country’s leadership, consolidated the position with representatives of the ATO Headquarters we will be able to implement the Framework agreement and not to lose the Village Lugansk. Scheduled for today the withdrawal of divisions of VSU in the Village of Lugansk will not take place! Glory To Ukraine!”, – stated in the message.
