The Senator assured that the Parliament is the least powerful branch of government than the President.
Senator John McCain is in Kiev at the head of the delegation of the United States. Influential American politician promised that the United States will remain a reliable partner of Ukraine, in particular in the protection of the territorial integrity of our state, according to a story TSN.19:30.
During a meeting with the President, both parties acted to ensure the fulfilment by Russia of the Minsk obligations, and moreover – to continue sanctions against Russia until full resumption of control over the Ukrainian territory, including Crimea. We don’t know for sure, what will the President-elect. But we are convinced that the Congress of the United States – and we are equal branches – firmly supports Ukraine in its struggle against Russian aggression”, – he said. The politician also expressed support for the channel 1+1 in the situation with the issuance of a license for analogue broadcasting.
