The GPU require an unscheduled test, e-Declaration, 29 MPs

The GPU found a discrepancy between the declared assets of MPs and their income.

The Prosecutor General’s office to the State fiscal service has initiated carrying out documentary unscheduled inspections e-29 declarations of people’s deputies.

It is noted that the GPU during the processing of e-declarations of MPs revealed evidence of discrepancies between the declared assets and income officially received by.

The Prosecutor’s office emphasize that, given that such cases are not uncommon and for the purpose of establishing the lawful origin of the declared funds and full payment of tax declarants and their agents the proper amount of taxes to the budget, the GPU is initiated such checks.

According to the GPU, one of the deputies in the period 2001 to 2016 received income in the amount of 600 thousand hryvnia, but in the electronic Declaration 2015 provided cash in the amount of almost 22 million.

Recall that NABU has opened a case against another MP via e-Declaration. in General, already registered 22 criminal proceedings on the results of the analysis of e-returns relating to actions 21 people: 6 people’s deputies, judges 11, 2 chairmen of district state administrations, 1 Deputy of the regional Council, 1 the head of Central body of Executive power.

17 November 2016, the National anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine opened three criminal proceedings on the facts of illicit enrichment (part 2 and part 3 of article 368-2 of the criminal code) based on the analysis of information contained in e-declarations. Two proceedings were opened against deputies, one against the representative of the judicial branch.
