SBU sued because of a privacy declarations of employees
Anti-corruption organization, the Center for combating corruption has filed a lawsuit against SBU due to the classification of information from the declarations of officers.
This is stated in the statement of the organization.
In particular, activists believe the illegal recognition of the SBU information from the declarations of state secrets, filing of returns not to the NACP, and in his own closed system of unknown origin, which are only in the service.
The organization wants the court to force SBU to declassify information from the declarations and information about changes of the financial status of the leadership and investigators.
The center for combating corruption also requires to recognize the illegal establishment of the SBU their own system of processing and storage of declarations.
As of today, only 8 Sbushnikov decided to submit an e-Declaration in the register of NACP. Among them seven of the regional departments of the SBU and only one member of the Central office.
“In fact, because of the decision of SBU those unit officials who have complied with the requirements of the law can now be prosecuted for violating state secrets just for the fact that released information about their income and costs”, – explains the lawyer of the Center Elena Serban.
