Poroshenko called on interrogation on the case concerning the dismissal of former Prosecutor General Shokina

The Supreme administrative court called the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko for questioning in the case of the dismissal of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin.

As stated in the notice, which is available Gromadsky, the defendant in this case is the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and the Verkhovna Rada.

“The Supreme administrative court summoned the former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin and President Petro Poroshenko, Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to participate in the court session on the case No. 800/98/17 at the suit of Shokin, Viktor Mikhailovich to the President of Ukraine Poroshenko Petro Oleksiyovych about recognition illegal and cancellation of the decision, reinstatement to administrative positions,” reads the agenda.

It is noted that the hearing scheduled for today, April 20, 2017, at 15.00.

Earlier it was reported that the former head of the GPU Viktor Shokin asks to restore it on the post of Prosecutor General.

We will remind, the former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin is trying through the courts to be reinstated.

Note that Shokin accused in the collapse of high-profile cases against Yanukovych’s people, the descent on the brakes ” high profile investigations, for which the EU must lift sanctions against the defendants in the list.

16 Feb 2016 President Petro Poroshenko in his address asked the Prosecutor General Shokina to resign.

Shokin wrote a letter and went on vacation, from which he returned March 16, 2016. Subsequently, Poroshenko signed the resignation of the Prosecutor General on 3 April.
