NATO is ready to begin discussing the plan for Ukraine’s membership in the Alliance
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that NATO has accepted a proposal from Ukraine about the beginning of the discussion of the plan of the country’s membership in the Alliance.

We will remind, Ukraine’s accession to NATO is one of the priority tasks for Ukraine. Now conducting preparatory work, reforming the army and transferred it to the standards of the Alliance.
July 9, in Kiev on a visit arrived the members of the highest governing body of NATO – the North Atlantic Council. The delegation is headed by the 29 ambassadors of countries-members of the Alliance, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
