Vasu upheld the decree Poroshenko about deprivation of the Deputy Artemenko citizenship

The Supreme administrative court of Ukraine refused to satisfy the claim of the former people’s Deputy Andrey Artemenko, who demanded to recognize the decree of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to deprive him of Ukrainian citizenship illegal.

This is with reference to the ruling of the court, reports “Interfax-Ukraine”.

“Satisfaction of the administrative claim denied,” said judge, who shall preside, Igor Olender.

Thus, the court upheld the decree of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and refused to cancel it.

We will remind, earlier the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko his decree was revoked Andrey Artemenko. The people’s Deputy Oleg Lyashko said that the reason was that the MP in 2005 he received the canadian citizenship.

The media also reported that Artemenko was one of the authors of the so-called “peace plan” that offers suggestions as to how the head of the White house Donald trump could lift sanctions against Russia. In particular, it was proposed to hand over the Crimea to the Russian Federation.

In turn Artemenko has filed a lawsuit against the President of Petro Poroshenko on the abolition of the presidential decree on the termination of his citizenship, and Parliament has terminated the powers of Deputy.
