Poroshenko has extended the ban on the sale of land
President Petro Poroshenko with his signature extended by one year the moratorium on the sale or alienation by another method of agricultural land.

The office of Petro Poroshenko, explained the decision by saying that the ban on the sale of land will generate legislative support for the functioning of the market of agricultural land.
The document comes into force on the day following the day of its publication.
The decision on the moratorium the Verkhovna Rada adopted on 7 December this year.
Earlier, first Deputy Minister of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine Maxim Martyniuk said that after the introduction of the land market, the cost of one hectare of land will amount to 50-60 thousand. Now to the cadastre made 70% of all plots, Derzeitiger fully ensures the process of transferring leases.
