The sides discussed the extension of sanctions against Russia.
Ukraine is interested in joint investment projects in the military-industrial complex with partners from the countries-members of NATO. This was stated by Oleksandr Turchynov during a meeting with the Director General of the British foreign office for security and consular Affairs, Philip Barton.
According to him, the sides discussed the extension of sanctions against the aggressor country of Russia and the negative impact on the energy and secure the situation in Europe, the construction of “Nord stream-2”.

“The UK supports the positive changes in the sector of security and defense of your country and ready to assist further reform of Ukraine, in particular during the next NATO summit in Brussels,” said Philip Barton.

Barton also thanked Ukraine for its support of great Britain after the events in Salisbury.
“On behalf of our close partner Ukraine we saw a lot of support after the events in Salisbury. We extremely appreciate,” said Barton.
Earlier it was reported that in Ukraine the decision of the Council has produced a series of trade restrictions with the weapon producers. According to Turchynov, this should strengthen the defense ability.
