The deficit is primarily due to the lack of income from privatization.

During the first seven months of the current year the deficit of the state budget of Ukraine amounted to 13.4 billion. It is reported the State Treasury service of Ukraine.

Last year same time period the state has had a surplus of 27 billion hryvnia.

The main items of the current shortage was the lack of revenues from privatization (instead of the planned 4.6 billion UAH. managed to get only a 49.9 million.) and modest borrowing (94 billion of the expected 150 billion).

Partially offset the negative trend was helped by the tax on profit of enterprises, which brought in the budget of 54 billion in the hopes of 43.2 billion USD.
