The carrier insists on observance of Ukrainian legislation.

The national anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine puts pressure on the airline “Ukraine International Airlines”, and also eliminates the guarantees of doing business.

This statement was made by the airline after the NABOO message about suspicion to the former head of the state aviation administration of Ukraine, as well as the President and chief accountant of the UIA regarding the misappropriation or embezzlement of property.

“The actions of the NAB are a direct pressure on the airline, a rough leveling of the guarantees of doing business in Ukraine and a manifestation of the reluctance of the authorities to resolve the issue of payment of fees to the State specialized Fund for funding General state expenditures on aviation activity and participation of Ukraine in international aviation organizations legally, in particular through the adoption of appropriate laws, as required by the provisions of the Constitution and the Tax Code of Ukraine”, – reads the statement of the press service of the airline.

In “MAU” noted that the company has repeatedly expressed its position on the illegal actions of the Ministry of transport regarding the calculation of fees in a special Fund and defended it in numerous courts, the Department and the Prosecutor’s office of Kiev.

“Ukraine international Airlines” claim that in its activities, always adhere to the letter of the law and will fight by all available means with the manifestations of legal nihilism and illegal pressure on the company from law enforcement bodies”, – emphasized in the company.

We will remind, according to the NABU, pre-trial investigation found that during 2014-2015, the leadership of the “MAU” with the assistance of officials of the Ministry of transport of illegal possession of means of Respected financing of national costs for aviation activities and Ukraine’s participation in international aviation organizations in especially large sizes. The sum of losses in two years is estimated at 147 million.

According to investigators, the growth of debt to the Fund contributed to the lobbying MAU from the former head of the SAS. The specified official prior to being appointed in MAU.
