The United States recalled that is not part of the “Norman” group.
Official Washington expressed support for the process of negotiations in “Norman format”, but did not comment on the decisions of the participants of the meeting in Berlin regarding the “road map”.
This was stated by the speaker of the State Department of the USA John Kirby, says UKRINFORM.
“We continue to support full implementation of the Minsk agreements and stated that in many cases,” Kirby recalled. However, he stressed that the United States is not part of the “Norman” group.
“I’m not going to talk about things on which the members of this group made the decision”, – said the representative of US state Department. In this regard, it is recommended to put the issue of “road map” to the participants of the meeting in Berlin.

Earlier, German Chancellor Angela Merkel called progress agreement “Norman Quartet” on the establishment of the roadmap for the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
Angela Merkel said that the “Normandy four” agreed on the access of OSCE observers to the uncontrolled by the Ukrainian government part of the border between Ukraine and Russia, and also on creation of four zones for the breeding of the conflicting parties in the Donbass.

Russia will not give up Debaltsevo under the control of Ukraine. This was stated by Putin’s spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, half a day after the meeting of the Normandy Quartet in Berlin. Five hours of negotiations Poroshenko, Putin, Merkel and Hollande agreed on the preparation of a road map for implementation of the Minsk agreements. Experts call the result of the match is zero, because the Minsk agreements do not need additional documents.
