Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov admitted that Putin and the newly elected President of the United States Donald trump can socialize before the inauguration.
He stated in an interview “MK.ru”.
Peskov expressed the hope that “a dialogue will appear”, because the relations between the two countries “are in a deplorable state”.
“They’re talking about the same thing: that we need to normalize relations between our countries, but guided primarily by national interests, — he explained. This Peskov warned that the conflict between the two countries will continue.
“I mean collision of interests,” he said. According to him, it’s hard to say whether they will be easier to settle with trump.
Peskov said that while the US is the current President, Barack Obama, and it will be another two months to act. Therefore, Moscow will work with him.

Earlier, the newly elected President of the United States Donald trump said that he has scheduled a telephone conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
