“There is hope”. Poroshenko expects progress on bezveze for Ukraine

The decision must be made at the summit on November 24.

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during his visit to Sweden said that will do everything possible in order to make progress in resolving the issue on granting Ukraine a visa-free regime with the EU.

“We still have that hope, and I will do everything possible to ensure this (visa-free regime for Ukrainians with the EU – Ed)”, – quotes “Interfax” the quote of the President.

Poroshenko is in Sweden on a working visit. He is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Sweden, the speaker of Parliament and leader of the Moderate party, which heads the opposition Alliance parties.

Earlier, Poroshenko expressed confidence that the European Union will decide on the introduction of visa-free regime with Ukraine until November 24.

According to the President, Ukraine supports the European Parliament’s second biggest faction of the European people’s party and the liberals and the conservatives, therefore, for decision on visa-free regime is in Parliament an absolute majority.
