The IMF noted positive changes in Ukraine after the reforms

The representative of the IMF mission stressed that he hoped for further promotion of Ukraine on the way of reforms.

In Ukraine from the beginning of the cooperation program with the IMF “in all directions of reforms” there has been significant progress.

This was stated by Deputy Director of European Department, IMF Athanasios Arvanitis after a meeting with Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman.

“You can say that a positive trend is observed in all directions, if you compare the current situation to the one that was a year ago,” he said.

Arvanitis also said that he hopes to further implementation of structural reforms.

“All our efforts should be focused to make the economy (of Ukraine – ed.ed.) success, and achievements – significant,” – said the Deputy Director of the European Department of the IMF.

We will remind, earlier the national Bank said that in the beginning of November in Kiev needs to come to the mission of the International monetary Fund. At the end of its work, the IMF Board of Directors should decide on the allocation of Ukraine the next tranche of the loan. 1.3 billion dollars can do in the end of the year.
