First channel ignored the topic, but such media propaganda as Russia Today, Rossiya 24 and NTV did short stories broadcast news programs and has published notes on their websites. Also news about the report of the Prosecutor announced the TV channel “Rain”.

Of the newspaper “Izvestiya” and “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” (and their websites) ignored the document on the occupied Crimea. It is noteworthy that spared him the attention of the opposition “Novaya Gazeta” and “Nezavisimaya Gazeta” published the news today, November 16.

Kommersant, Komsomolskaya Pravda, Vedomosti, Argumenty I Fakty wrote about the report, short notes.

Of online media propaganda Life and the site lenta.ru yesterday did not mention the document of the ICC, Meduza has published a news note, as RBC and NEWSru.com.

Tonight, November 16, the Third Committee of the UN General Assembly endorsed the Ukrainian resolution on human rights in the occupied Crimea. It will be considered at the meeting of the 71st session of the UNGA. For the first time in documents of the UN, called Russia a country-occupier, Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol as temporarily occupied territory.

However, the Russian media decided to ignore this point. At the same time, they focused on the comments of the Director of the Department of the Russian foreign Ministry on human rights Anatoly Viktorov, who spoke at the Committee meeting and called the resolution “propaganda that has nothing to do with real situation in Crimea”. For example, his words presented to the Agency Interfax-Russia. RIA Novosti wrote that “Victoria called the Ukrainian document “useless propaganda leaflet.” And Meduza was published by his words that “the inhabitants of the Crimea made the decision on joining of the Russian Federation “in the historic referendum.”

This is stated in a resolution of the Committee on human rights of the UN General Assembly. For the adoption of the document voted 73 countries, 23 – against it, with Russia. The resolution condemns the temporary occupation of the Peninsula and urged Moscow to release Ukrainian citizens and to cancel the prohibition of activities of the Majlis.
