European Council President Donald Tusk in a telephone conversation with the newly elected President of the United States Donald trump noted the need to support Ukraine.

This was reported by a source in the European Union, which quoted the Agency AFP and Dow Jones Newswires.

According to the source, “Tusk congratulated trump on his election, invite him to the EU summit – the United States and emphasized the transatlantic cooperation, in particular, for Ukraine.”

Trump thanked Tusk for the invitation to Brussels and in turn invited him to the White house on the eve of the EU summit, the United States, after his inauguration on January 20.

We will remind that the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko may meet with the elected President of the United States Donald trump in February 2017, immediately after his inauguration on January 20.
