Turkey’s policy towards Ukraine has not changed.

Unofficial Turkish delegation, which visited Russian-occupied Crimea, did so on their own initiative and had not received permission from the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkey.

This was stated press Secretary of the foreign Ministry of the country Housein Muftuoglu, reports Anadolu.

According to him, Turkey’s position towards Ukraine has not changed.

“Ankara, as before, supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, which is part of the Peninsula of the Crimea”, – said Muftuoglu.

We will remind, in Russian-annexed Crimea arrived the Turkish delegation, which included politicians, businessmen and deputies. Among the delegates is the head of the Turkish Association of Eurasian governments, a confidant of Deputy head of the General Directorate of security of Turkey Hasan Cengiz, the President of Turkey Ibrahim Arelli, Vice-mayor of Ankara Ahmet tunc and others. In total there are 22 people. The purpose of the visit was the meeting with the occupying “authorities” and so-called leaders of the Crimean Tatar community.
