The Department believes that “Ukraine violates Russia’s border, contrary to the norms of international and Russian law”.

The Russian defense Ministry handed a note of protest to the military attaché of Ukraine because of the upcoming rocket firings in Crimea.

It is reported by RIA Novosti.

The Russian defense Ministry called “illegal” the introduction by Ukraine of restrictions on flights over the Black sea.

The defense Ministry said that the Kiev’s South-Eastern border of the danger zone “violate the borders of Russia, contrary to the norms of international and Russian law”.

Recall, the Federal air transport Agency of Russia (Rosaviatsia) informed about intention of the Ukrainian side to conduct missile firing in the air space over the occupied Simferopol. The Federal air transport Agency reports that Ukraine unilaterally adopted a decision on the firing, calling the district over the occupied Peninsula “sovereign airspace of the Russian Federation”. The report said that the shooting allegedly scheduled for December 1 and 2 in “a zone of responsibility of the Russian Federation”.

Secretary of the national security Council and defense Oleksandr Turchynov said that Ukraine is not planning to conduct missile tests in the Kerch Strait. According to him, according to all international agreements, sovereign airspace of Russia in the Black sea ends up in the middle of the Kerch Strait, and in this area the Ukrainian side is not planning to conduct missile tests.

“The rest of the territory West of the Kerch Strait is the sovereign airspace of Ukraine”, – said Turchinov.
