The prices of vegetables and products in Ukrainian supermarkets rose again – expert

The cost of basic products increased primarily by 2-3%.

During the first week of December in Ukrainian supermarkets continued to rise, the prices of basic products and vegetables. The cost has increased mainly 2-3%.

“From 30 November to 9 December, the prices of food products grew. Products, which fell by more than 1%, no. Among the growth leaders, traditionally for fall, chicken eggs and dairy products: eggs rose in price by 2.9% or by UAH 0.57 percent, butter – by 2.4% or UAH 3.12, sour cream – by 1.8% or UAH 0,66, cheese – by 1.7% or by UAH 1,36. Began to rise in the price of pork, which added 2.1 percent or 1,45 UAH. Almost all vegetables borsch set increased in price”, – said the Director of the Ukrainian Association of trade networks suppliers Oleksiy Doroshenko.

He predicts that with Jan products, including dairy products, will cease to rise in price until March, with the exception of vegetables and fruits.
