Motuzyanik reported on the situation in the ATO zone during the day.
For the past day in the Donbas killed any Ukrainian military, however, is wounded.
This was stated by the speaker of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine on ATO Col.
“For last days the dead among the Ukrainian military was not, but two of our soldier was injured,” he said.
At the same time Motuzyanik did not specify exactly where were wounded Ukrainian military.
However, he said that at the direction of Lugansk yesterday the greatest activity of militants was reported in the area of Popasnaya, where there were seven armed provocations with the use of grenade launchers and machine guns, each of which lasted no more than 15 minutes.
“The militants continue to enforce the Minsk agreements prohibited the mortars on the arc Svetlodarsk. In the course of attacks of positions of forces of ATO in Lugansk region, the occupiers issued 35 mortar shells. There’s also the enemy during the day, used rocket-propelled grenades and small arms,” said Matusevich, adding that overall, on this front, the militants opened fire 6 times.
According to the representative of the Ministry of defense, on the Mariupol direction two-thirds of the attacks and armed provocations have on the Maritime frontiers – Water and Shirokino, where yesterday was the recorded work of enemy armored vehicles and snipers.
“In just the past day in Donetsk direction was 14 enemy attacks, including 3 with heavy weapons (mortars), and on the Mariupol direction had 18 attacks of positions of forces ATO”, – summed up Motuzyanik.
Recall that on 2 January as a result of violation of the rules of handling weapons in one of the military units in the ATO area, near Marinka, killing two soldiers. Two more were injured.
