The appellate court of Kiev postponed consideration of the appeal regarding the extension of the arrest of the former head of fraction of Party of regions Alexander Efremov on January 17.

The court explained that the meeting, which was scheduled for January 5 was postponed due to the fact that the panel of judges did not complete and therefore is not authoritative.

Earlier, the court extended the stay of Ephraim in custody until 22 January 2017. He is accused of financing the so-called “LNR”, the violation of the territorial integrity of Ukraine and theft of property “Luganskugol”.
