In the Kremlin consider that the consequences of the new restrictions can have an impact on the world economy.

New sanctions of the United States against Russia can lead to negative consequences for the Russian fuel and energetichnogo complex. However, the Kremlin assured that this case will be taken on compensation mechanisms to minimize possible losses. This was stated press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov, reports UNIAN.

According to Peskov, such restrictions can harm not only bilateral relations, but also the global economy.

“Of course, this kind of restriction – they will cause additional harm, not only bilateral relations, but also, I think, even in terms of the global economy and global energy market. Of course, there may be certain negative consequences for our country”, – said the press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation.

“Therefore, there is no doubt that the system itself, the sector of the economy – he will find appropriate compensation measures in order to minimize any possible damage from such actions, if it can be implemented”, – said Peskov.

“First and foremost, I want to hope that they will be able soberly and sensibly to our colleagues in Washington to look at the situation,” he added.

Earlier, us senators introduced for consideration the draft law on toughening sanctions against Russia over its implementation of cyber attacks during the presidential elections in the United States.

The new restrictions will affect the energy of the complex and those involved in the purchase of sovereign debt of Russia. In addition, the sanctions include distribution to persons who invest in mineral extraction, pipelines and civil nuclear projects. The bill must be passed by both houses of Congress and signed by the President.
