The movement “Forum for democracy” wants to stop the ratification of the agreement.

In the Netherlands the movement “Forum for democracy” has filed a lawsuit against the government to prevent the ratification of the Association Agreement with Ukraine.

It is reported Dutchnews.nl.

The leader of the movement, Thierry Bode wants the REFs stopped the government’s attempts to ratify the Agreement with Ukraine. Members of the movement argue that the law on the consultative referendum suggests that after the voting took place, the results should be taken as soon as possible, or ignored.

But the government has begun negotiations in the EU and with the political parties within the country regarding next steps.

“Forum for democracy” shows that it is a violation of law.
