The fourth quarter of 2016 Ukraine has ended with a growth in GDP of 4.7% compared to the same period of 2015. The increase compared to the third quarter of 2016 is 1.9%.

“We managed to stop the decline of the economy and ensure its growth,” said today, February 14, during a government meeting Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman, was quoted by UNIAN.

The government has approved and submitted to the Parliament a report on the results of operations for the year 2016.

Last year the deficit of the state budget amounted to 3.1%. Groisman stressing that thus was fulfilled the forecast budget resolution for 2016, and at the request of international creditors of Ukraine.

Meanwhile , the NBU hope in the coming weeks to get a positive response from the IMF on allocation of the next tranche of the loan in the amount of $ 1 billion.
